Join SRWA for a 1/2-day paddle along 6.5 miles of the South River from Lorraine Park Trailhead to Rockdale County’s BRAND NEW River’s Bend Park & Trailhead (Oglesby Bridge Road)! We’ll take a break on a beach halfway as we paddle through the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area and past the 2,000 acre Monastery of the Holy Spirit.

Bring Your Own Gear - 8am-8:15am: Drop your gear at Lorriane Park then drive to River’s Bend Park (take-out) to leave your car. From there, you will be shuttled back to put-in at Lorraine Park.
