Trash & Tire Roundup!

This event is offered free and open to the public by SRWA in collaboration with Georgia EPD Rivers Alive.

This is a land and water cleanup event. There are two options to chose from:

Panola Shoals Crew: Remove trash & tires from the beach and river at Panola Shoals. Closed-toed and/or water-proof shoes required. Kids 12+ welcome with adult supervision. Arrive at Panola Shoals Trailhead at 8:30am. We’ll wrap at around 1pm.

Kayak/Canoe Crew (All gear provided): Remove tires & trash on the river from Panola Shoals to Panola Mountain State Park. Adults only. You may be assigned to a kayak or a canoe. Arrive at Panola Mountain State Park Alexander Lake parking lot at 8:30am. From there you will be shuttled to Panola Shoals. Masks required in shuttle. We’ll wrap at around 3pm.

The success of this event depends on teamwork. If you sign up please show up on time!
